Tri-C Western Campus Theater

The Split Show - which was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement - is an original work by Northeast Ohio actress and playwright Lisa Langford. The play follows the intersecting paths of an African-American family dealing with the death of a son to police violence and a white family deciding whether to keep a biracial baby conceived in a fertility clinic mix-up.

I decided to audition because I was ending my acting track and graduating with my Associates of Arts. This experience taught me to appreciate the hard work that actors face with dealing with late night rehearsals and constant changes. I played six different characters; Comedian, Stage Manager, Newscaster, Hip-Hop Hype Man, a Process Server, Police Officer, and an Announcer.
